Portfolio review
PHOTOBOOKFEST hosted sessions of portfolio-review for photographers with the participation of leading international experts.
Lesley A. Martin (USA) is the creative director at Aperture Foundation, and publisher of "The PhotoBook Review". Her writing on photography has been published in Aperture, FOAM, Ojo de Pez, and Lay Flat among other publications. In 2011, she cofounded the Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards. She currently teaches a graduate course on photobooks at the Yale University School of Art.

Regina Maria Antzenberger (AT) – artist, curator, founder and director of the AnzenbergerAgency and Anzenberger Gallery. She has been co-director of the ViennaPhotoBookFestival (2013-2017). Member of the Nominating Committee of the Joop Swart Masterclass and the Prix Pictet.

Emilia van Lynden (NL/UK) is the Editor-in-Chief of Unseen Magazine and Artistic Director of Unseen, the leading platform for contemporary photography in the Netherlands. Van Lynden, among other things, sources artistic talents, as well as galleries, collectives and projects that have a large program committed to supporting emerging artists.

Andrei Polikanov (RU) is a member of various national and international photo contest juries (World Press Photo, Visa d'Or in Perpignan, Press Photo Finland, Interfoto Russia). He is a member of the Joop Swart Masterclass independent selection committee and was a nominator for World Press Photo's educational program for the Middle East and North Africa, a reviewer at the FotoFest International Portfolio Review, a lecture at the International Bursa Photo Festival, Cortona on the Move Photo Festival, FotoIstanbul Festival and many others.

Delphine Bedel (FR/NL) is an artist, lecturer, editor and publisher, who specialised in emerging practices in photography, design and publishing. Her work is exhibited internationally. She is the founder of Meta/Books and the Amsterdam Art/Book Fair, as well as Member of the Advisory Board of the Mondriaan Fonds and the German Photography Academy (DFA). She is currently teaching at the Masters Design Academy Eindhoven.

Sonia Berger (ES) – curator, freelance publisher, director of Dalphine, a publisher and bookstore specializing in photo books, member of La Troupe collective focusing on art projects, Collaborates with the Blank Paper School of Photography in Madrid.

Arnis Balcus (LV) – photographer, video artist, editor-in-chief of FK Magazine, Director of Riga Photomonth festival, lecturer in documentary photography at the International summer school of photography (ISSP) and Riga Stradins University.

Julian Baron (ES) – a photographer, director of Blank Online School, winner of Magnum Photography Award (2016), member of Balnk Paper.

Nadezhda Sheremetova (RU), curator, photography researcher, photo critic, director of the FotoDepartment Foundation, chief editor of the online magazine about contemporary photography «F.».

Narda van 't Veer (NL) is a gallerist and the founder of Unit c.m.a, an Amsterdam-based agency representing artists in photography, illustration, animation, art-direction and cinema. After being in the photography business for over 30 years, van T'Veer has come across a lot of art photography and photobooks. In 2012, van T'Veer founded her own gallery in collaboration with Jasper Bode. In 2017, she joined the advisory board of World Press Photo.

Larisa Grinberg (RU), art-director of the Grinberg Gallery, curator of Art Management and Gallery Business master's program and a lecturer at Cinema and Contemporary Art department of the Russian State Univerity for the Humanities; 2014- 2017— a curator of Na Shabolovke and Peresvetov Pereulok galleries.

Laurence Aëgerter (FR/NL) is a multi-disciplinary French artist who lives and works in Amsterdam and Marseille. Latest group exhibitions include Les rencontres de la photographie, Arles; Making Africa, Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao; Quickscan #2, Nederlands Fotomuseum, Rotterdam. In 2016, Aëgerter was awarded the International Photography Nestlé Price, Festival Images, Vevey (CH).
Evgeny Berezner (RU), a curator of exhibition projects in the field of photography in Russia and abroad, member of the International Association for Photography Curators dubbed "Oracle". 2006-2016 - chairman of jury of this competition; Since 2002, he has been a reviewer at FotoFest's Meeting Place portfolio review (Houston, USA); since 2011 he has been a head of the International Festival of Photography PhotoVisa (Krasnodar Region, Russia).
Sjoerd Knibbeler (NL) is a visual artist from the Netherlands, living and working in Amsterdam. In 2015, he was selected as a FOAM Talent and was awarded the Grand Prix du Jury Photographie in Hyères, France. Since then, he has had solo exhibitions at FOAM Photography Museum, Espace Images, Contact Festival and Villa Noailles.
